YOUTH VOLUNTEER INFORMATION & OPPORTUNITIES
If you are under the age of 15 or have a group of young people who are interested in volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House, please complete the Youth Volunteer Application. Needs List Donor: Collect and donate items listed on the Ronald McDonald House Current Needs List. The Needs List can be found by clicking on the link below. Items that are bolded represent the things that are most urgently needed. The Needs List is updated on a weekly basis. Hours: Only a PORTION of hours may be granted using the "Needs List". Actual hours spent volunteering are NECESSARY BEFORE ANY hours may be granted by donating items. HOURS WILL NOT BE GRANTED unless VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR HAS BEEN CONTACTED FIRST! Click here to see our Current Needs List. Baked Goods Donor: Bake and deliver sweets, snacks or desserts to the Ronald McDonald House for family consumption. Please call a Ronald McDonald House staff member first to see if baked goods are needed at the time you are interested in preparing them. Hours: Flexible (3 hours of credit for a donation of food valued at $15) Pop-tab Collector: Start a pop-tab program in a classroom, church or social organization and deliver the collection of tabs to the House on a monthly basis. Hours: Flexible (Actual hours volunteered are recorded for credit.) Click here to learn about the Pop-tab Program! "Round-up for the Ronald McDonald House" Campaign: Collect loose change from friends, parents, neighbors and area businesses and donate the change to the Ronald McDonald House. You must contact a staff member at the Ronald McDonald House before starting this campaign. A staff member will provide you with collection canisters for the coins. Hours: Flexible (Actual hours volunteered are recorded for credit.) |
