Renee Sturkie – Executive Director
Renee began volunteering at the House almost 20 years ago – first as a meal volunteer, then as a weekend manager, then as a member of the Board of Directors, where she served as Treasurer for the past several years. She has nearly thirty years experience in commercial banking and finance, healthcare finance, government and internal audit and compliance. Originally from the Atlanta area, Renee and her husband Bill have been in Columbus since 1992. Renee and Bill have two grown children.

Over the years, my family and I have volunteered here in a number of ways, so now to serve as Executive Director feels like a dream come true. I look forward to lending my business administration and financial skills and to work with this amazing, dedicated staff and group of volunteers.”
Tiffany Bamberger- Development Director
Tiffany was born in Illinois and has traveled around the country both as a child and adult. She is married and has three sons, and they have lived in the Columbus area for 6 years. Tiffany recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Health Care/Business Management. Tiffany has previously worked at Midtown Medical Center, and has a strong background in community outreach, fundraising, and data analysis and entry. Tiffany has a passion for supporting NICU families, having worked as the Neonatal Family Support Specialist and also having two premature babies of her own. Tiffany enjoys reading, singing, being creative, and spending time with friends and family.

Mary Katherine Justice, Housekeeper
Mary Katherine first came to us as a volunteer and has recently joined our staff as our housekeeper. She is a nursing student at Columbus State University and is also in the Student Leadership program.
Lisa Johnson- Program Manager
Lisa Johnson has been a part of the Columbus, GA community for than 5 years. Her passion has always been to help those in need and feels most fulfilled when working in a non- profit capacity. Since joining the team at the Ronald McDonald House of Columbus, Lisa has been able to work alongside a great team as well as meet many of the dedicated volunteers she coordinates and oversees. She has a 7 year old daughter who also enjoys helping her mom serve our community. Lisa looks forward to working diligently and passionately on behalf of the mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Columbus which is keeping families close.
Sharon Hall- Night Manager
Sharon was born in Crawford, Alabama and now lives in Columbus with her husband. They have two sons. Sharon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and has experience in medical, administrative, and management arenas. Sharon goes above and beyond here at the House to ensure all families feel comfortable and welcome. She is a wonderful cook, and makes sure the families all have a hot meal ready for them when they come in from a long day at the hospital. Sharon’s favorite quote is:

Lynn Evans- Resident Manager
Zane Peters, House Operations Coordinator
Zane Peters began as a volunteer and soon joined the staff as the House Operations Coordinator. He came with over 10 years experiences in construction and customer service. Zane is currently pursuing a career as an RN and is also taking classes to become an EMT.
