Renee Sturkie – Executive Director
Renee began volunteering at the House almost 20 years ago – first as a meal volunteer, then as a weekend manager, then as a member of the Board of Directors, where she served as Treasurer for the past several years. She has nearly thirty years experience in commercial banking and finance, healthcare finance, government and internal audit and compliance. Originally from the Atlanta area, Renee and her husband Bill have been in Columbus since 1992. Renee and Bill have two grown children.

Over the years, my family and I have volunteered here in a number of ways, so now to serve as Executive Director feels like a dream come true. I look forward to lending my business administration and financial skills and to work with this amazing, dedicated staff and group of volunteers.”
Tiffany Bamberger- Assistant Director
Tiffany was born in Illinois and has traveled around the country both as a child and adult. She is married and has three sons, and they have lived in the Columbus area for 7 years. Tiffany recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Health Care/Business Management. Tiffany has previously worked at Midtown Medical Center, and has a strong background in community outreach, fundraising, and data analysis and entry. Tiffany has a passion for supporting NICU families, having worked as the Neonatal Family Support Specialist and also having two premature babies of her own. Tiffany enjoys reading, singing, being creative, and spending time with friends and family.

I am so excited to be able to help raise awareness and support for the families that stay here and to be a part of this incredible family.”
Morwen Bush- Volunteer Program Coordinator
Moe is an Atlanta transplant. She came to Columbus in 2010 during her husband’s military career and now calls it home.She has been with Ronald McDonald House Charities of West Georgia since 2016. She has a passion for the House and loves working with the talented and dedicated volunteers and connecting with the amazing families that come through the house. Morwen’s background is in retail management but she has found her true passion working in the non profit sector.
She is also a published children’s book author and teaches art to children in her free time. Morwen lives in Midtown with her husband, two young daughters and their herd of dachshunds and rescue cats.
She loves her volunteer staff and is constantly on the search for new house ambassadors to share the mission of the house and to volunteer at RMHC.
Zane Peters, House Operations Coordinator
Zane Peters began as a volunteer and soon joined the staff as the House Operations Coordinator. He came with over 10 years experiences in construction and customer service. Zane is currently pursuing a career as an RN and is also an EMT.
Sharon Hall- Night Manager
Sharon was born in Crawford, Alabama and now lives in Columbus with her husband. They have two sons. Sharon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and has experience in medical, administrative, and management arenas. Sharon goes above and beyond here at the House to ensure all families feel comfortable and welcome. She is a wonderful cook, and makes sure the families all have a hot meal ready for them when they come in from a long day at the hospital. Sharon’s favorite quote is:
