Volunteers are the core of every Ronald McDonald House because they give from their hearts to help make our House a “home.”

After spending many months living in a Ronald McDonald House in a different state, there is no way our family can ever repay the organization for providing a ‘Home Away from Home’ for us.  Now, we are grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at the House in Columbus and spend time in a way that helps families overcome life’s challenges and impacts their lives in such a positive way.” — K. & S. Freeman, RMHC Volunteers.   We truly value our volunteers commitment of time, talent and resources and attribute so much of our success to their involvement with our charity.  Please note that all volunteers must be 18 or older. If you are younger than 18 years old and interested in supporting our house please consider joining our teen group, The Yellow Shoe Crew or our Mini Shoe Crew. Those wishing to donate baked goods can donate a MAXIMUM of 3 dozen baked goods per visit.  Also, we are unable to provide court-ordered community service or accept any volunteers who need to complete court-ordered community service or have an open DFACs case in their home. This is due to the nature of our home. If you are interested in volunteering with RMHC of West Georgia, Inc., please review the volunteer opportunities and submit an application. We will contact you for orientation.     If you have questions or need additional information, please contact the Ronald McDonald House Charities of West Georgia at 706-321-0033 or email Kianna at Kianna.jackson@rmhcwga.org
