EVENTS

Ronald McDonald House Charities of West Georgia, Inc. hosts several events throughout the year.  The primary fundraising event for the House is the "Hearts & Hands" Golf Tournament.  The event is presented by our local McDonald's and is held at Grand National Golf Course in the fall of the year.  This event is critical to the success of our organization and generally produces one-third of the revenue needed to fund the charity's annual operations. 

On October 20, 2011, 114 players braved a cool, brisk morning in Opelika and enjoyed playing in this year's tournament!  THANK YOU TO ALL OUR SPONSORS AND PARTICIPANTS for your part in making this year's event a GREAT SUCCESS!

The Olivia Andrews Pop Tab Run & Pennies 4 Life Ride celebrates the life of a young girl whose family was once a guest in our House.  Her family is deeply appreciative of the support they received while residing in our House and coordinate this annual event to raise money and collect pop-tabs for our House.  

We appreciate all of the event support that we receive from corporate sponsors, groups and individuals, and our staff and Board of Directors are commited to doing everything possible to maximize its effectiveness.
