DONATE
Ronald McDonald House Charities of West Georgia, Inc. relies on a network of corporate partners, community leaders, individual donors and staff and volunteers to fulfill our mission. The annual operations of our charity are funded entirely through the generosity of our local community and our national donors. Families who stay at our Ronald McDonald House are asked to contribute a small donation, but those who cannot afford to do so stay free of charge. Even with heart-felt donations from many of our guests, the total amount of funds collected from families accounts for less than 5% of the revenue needed to operate the House on an annual basis. The other 95% of the operating funds come from private donations, fundraising events, donations of goods and services and the McDonald's restaurant canister collection program. Many of our individual donors have been touched by the Ronald McDonald House program in some way and they help make our mission possible. No matter the size, the cumulative impact of their gifts is profound! Ronald McDonald House Charities of West Georgia, Inc. currently meets all 20 standards of the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability. If you are interested in lending your support to the families of sick and injured children, please complete our Online Donation Form. Your support of our charity is an investment in children's lives and in our community. Thank you in advance for your generosity! "Share-a-Night" . . ."Share-a-Life"Ronald McDonald House "Share-a-Night" ProgramSince 1994, the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus has served as an oasis to families in need. Providing more than shelter, "The House that Love Built" offers support and hope to families with seriously ill or injured children. Every night, it costs over $55 to provide one room for a family to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. Families are asked to contribute a small donation for their room but those who cannot afford to pay, stay free of charge. This holiday season, if you are looking for a meaningful gift for your family, friends, and co-workers, consider making a donation to the “Share-a-Night” program. Donations are used to help defray the cost that families incur and assist them during one of life’s most heart-wrenching experiences, the illness and hospitalization of a child. Make your donations on-line or mail to: Ronald McDonald House, Attn: Susan Yaksh, 1959 Hamilton Road, Columbus, GA 31904. Your donation is important to us; if your gift is in honor/memory of someone, please notate that on your donation slip and provide the names and addresses of those to whom you wish us to mail an acknowledgement. If you have any questions, please call Susan Yaksh at 706-321-0033, ext. 103
