ADULT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION & OPPORTUNITIESVolunteers are the core of every Ronald McDonald House because they give from their hearts to help make our House a "home." In 2009, the Independent Sector announced that the value of a volunteer had reached $20.85 per hour. For our House, that equates to approximately $129,332 in costs savings every year! "After spending many months living in a Ronald McDonald House in a different state, there is no way our family can ever repay the organization for providing a 'Home Away from Home' for us. Now, we are grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at the House in Columbus and spend time in a way that helps families overcome life's challenges and impacts their lives in such a positive way." -- K. & S. Freeman, RMH Volunteers. We truly value their commitment of time, talent and resources and attribute so much of our success to their involvement with our charity. Ms. Beth Mancini, Program Manager, coordinates the volunteer program for our House.
